Sr. Customer Success Manager
As a Senior Customer Success Manager at CO2AI, you will play a pivotal role in empowering some of the world’s leading organizations to turn sustainability ambition into measurable impact.

From the moment a customer joins our platform, you will be their trusted advisor — guiding them through a seamless onboarding experience, orchestrating collaboration across our expert teams (solution architects, product manager, support engineers, and back office teams), and ensuring they unlock the full potential of CO2AI.
Your mission will go beyond our customer onboarding. You'll partner with them to define and deliver tangible business value, enabling them to operationalize their sustainability strategies at scale in the long term. By translating complex carbon data into actionable insights, you will help them become internal change-makers and vocal champions of our shared mission: accelerating the global transition to a low-carbon economy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (AND WHY IT MATTERS)
- Be the main owner of a customer relationship, orchestrating every customer activity, understanding every member of the customer team and leaning on internal teams to make your customers successful
- Lead your customers to a timely implementation of the CO2AI platform for their sustainability initiatives
- Project manage these implementation, by highlighting dependencies, establishing agreed upon timelines, and keeping all parties accountable to their goals
- Act as a true business consultant, building success plans that document how CO2AI technology is solving high level business pain, developing solution recommendations and aligning on meaningful metrics to validate business outcomes.
- Understand sustainability problematics to guide your customers as they design their sustainability programs, support them in their response to audits, and help them to deliver on their decarbonization strategy and plan.
- Build cross-functional and executive level customer relationships to ensure clients can articulate and understand the value CO2AI is driving to their business.
- Build success stories with your customers, help to share them internally and externally, and transform your customers into Highly Engaged Fans for CO2AI
- Help the sales team to identify opportunities of expansion and ensure smooth renewals
- Monitor and report on customer health metrics, and provide context about your customers and their use of the platform to be used by other CO2AI’s teams (CS, Sales, Marketing, Product and the leadership)
- Represent the voice of your customer by collaborating with the rest of the customer success team to enhance our platform to accelerate our customers transformation.
- Continually look for ways to improve and manage effective onboarding, drive adoption of our platform and accelerate maturity in your customer portfolio.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 2-5 years or more of experience as a Strategic Customer Success Manager, in a customer facing SaaS function, ideally in a high-growth environment or in management consulting.
- 2-5 years or more of experience managing very large scale transformation projects — we work only with large companies (F500)
- Experience or passion for sustainability, ideally with some demonstrable experience
- Fluent in English is required
- A genuine interest for working with data - collecting and cleaning data in a way that makes it ingestible by the software, grasping a variety of computer languages, including Python
- An experience creating a carbon footprint for a client is preferred
Knowledge on climate accounting, GHG emissions / categories as well as Emissions Factors are preferred (or willingness to learn) - An interest in supporting clients in building their climate baseline, and identifying reduction opportunities
- Your passion for climate challenges and your willingness to make a change

WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED
Role based in central Paris (France). Flexible remote-work policy.
YOUR TEAM
In this role, you will report to the VP of Customer Success. You will work closely with the whole Customer Success team, as well as our sales, product and engineering teams.
