Financial Controller
As a Financial Controller, working closely with various internal teams, you will be responsible for the financial monitoring of our activity during the scale phase.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (AND WHY IT MATTERS)
- Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing, working closely with Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Manage supplier payments, ensuring adherence to payment terms and cash flow considerations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the accounting firm, ensuring smooth collaboration, timely delivery of required information, and gathering all necessary supporting documents such as receipts.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounting records and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update the expense tracking file, comparing actual expenses to the budget.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial statements for investor reporting purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform updates as needed.
- Conduct financial analyses to support effective cash management and decision-making.
- Contribute to the annual account closing process and assist in preparing for external audits.
- Participate in the preparation and submission of the Research Tax Credit application.
- Collaborate on the creation of ad hoc business plans for grant applications or other strategic requirements.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- With higher education, you have 2-3 years of experience in similar subjects, in controlling or corporate finance, including at least 6 months in accounting
- Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, in English; fluent English required (we are in a strongly English-speaking context)
- Excellent command of Google Sheet / Excel; nice if you have already worked with some of the following tools: Pennylane, Forscale
- Attention to detail, rigor and passion for numbers

Role based in central Paris (France). Flexible remote-work policy.

You will be part of the Operations team (which includes HR, Finance, Legal, Investor Relations), and will report directly to Maud, our VP of Operations.
