Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll collaborate across teams to make CO2 AI intuitive and effective, driving reduction-at-scale for the world’s largest enterprises and positively impacting our planet

WHAT YOU’LL DO (AND WHY IT MATTERS)

As the Senior Product Designer of CO2 AI, you will play a key role in developing our platform and user experience. Working closely with the product team, you will transform complex sustainability standards, enterprise workflows, datasets, and interactions into impactful, easy-to-understand interfaces for the sustainability, procurement, and R&D teams.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Research Technical Sustainability Concepts: Drive understanding and design of complex sustainability concepts by synthesizing customers’ data systems, engaging with users, and collaborating with sustainability leads
  • Design User-Centric Interfaces: Lead the design process from concept through release, transforming complex workflows into user-friendly interfaces that are easy to navigate and impactful.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers and engineers to align on high-level architectural decisions and detailed component interactions, ensuring cohesive and functional design outcomes.
  • Enhance the Design System: Improve our design system to ensure a consistent and scalable UI experience, supporting the brand & product across all customer touch points.
  • Foster a Positive Design Culture: Facilitate design critiques, evangelize best practices, and advocate for our users to drive continuous team and product improvements.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software product design
  • Command of user research methods and excited to spend time with clients
  • Experience in SaaS environments, preferably with enterprise clients, data-heavy products, or complex problem spaces
  • Track record of taking complex business problems and transforming them into intuitive product experiences that customers love
  • Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills, promoting design excellence with
  • Ability to lead end-to-end projects, working closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining design systems in collaboration with engineering and product teams (we use Material UI at CO2 AI)
  • Being fluent in English is mandatory

Role based in central Paris (France). Flexible remote-work policy.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
  1. Interview with Senior Talent Acquisition Manager
  2. Interview with one of our Designers
  3. Onsite interview with team:
    1. 1 hour presentation of your most impactful design project
    2. 1 hour design challenge
    3. 1 hour of cross-functional interviews with PM & Engineering
  4. 30 min final interview with our CEO, Charlotte

We’ll do our best to make sure you get feedback within 48 hours maximum after each interview.
